Beyond GDPR Compliance

Measure doesn't just comply with GDPR — we've made GDPR irrelevant for your analytics. Our Path B architecture means there's simply no personal data to regulate.

Why Measure Needs No Consent

Traditional analytics tools require consent because they track individuals. Measure is architecturally different:

  • No cookies — Nothing stored in the browser
  • No identifiers — No fingerprinting, no hashing, nothing
  • No individual events — Only aggregated counters stored
  • No IP addresses — Not even hashed or logged
  • No cross-request linkage — Each pageview is independent
  • No reconstruction possible — Can't identify anyone even if we tried

This isn't privacy by policy — it's privacy by architecture. The data simply doesn't exist.

No Cookie Banner Required

Because Measure collects no personal data and uses no cookies, you don't need a consent banner for analytics. This improves user experience while keeping you compliant with:

  • GDPR (EU)
  • ePrivacy Directive (EU)
  • CCPA (California)
  • PECR (UK)
  • LGPD (Brazil)
  • PIPEDA (Canada)

What We Store

For complete transparency, here's exactly what we store:

  • Pageview counts per page (e.g., "/about" had 42 views this hour)
  • Pageview counts by referrer domain (e.g., "google.com" sent 15 pageviews)
  • Pageview counts by country (e.g., "DE" had 8 pageviews)
  • Pageview counts by device type (e.g., "mobile" had 20 pageviews)
  • Pageview counts by browser family (e.g., "Chrome" had 30 pageviews)

That's it. Counters only. No individual records.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As a Measure customer, you have the following rights regarding your account data:

  • Right to Access — Request a copy of your data
  • Right to Rectification — Correct inaccurate data
  • Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your data
  • Right to Portability — Export your data
  • Right to Object — Object to data processing
  • Right to Restrict Processing — Limit how we use your data

Data Protection Contact

For GDPR-related inquiries, please contact our data protection team at privacy@measure.events.

For Website Visitors

Your website visitors have nothing to exercise GDPR rights over — because we never collect their personal data. There's no data subject request to fulfill because there's no data subject data.

This is the cleanest compliance posture possible: not "we handle your data carefully" but "we don't have your data."

Data Processing Agreement

If you require a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for your records, please contact us at support@measure.events and we'll provide one.
