We want happy customers, not hostages. That's why we make it easy to cancel your account at any time.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your Measure account at any time by contacting us at support@measure.events. We'll process your cancellation promptly and confirm via email.

Only account owners can initiate a cancellation. If you're not the account owner, please ask them to cancel on your behalf.

What Happens When You Cancel

When you cancel your account:

  • Your tracking scripts will stop collecting data immediately
  • You'll lose access to your dashboard and analytics data
  • No further charges will be made to your payment method

Data Deletion Timeline

We understand that your data is important to you. Here's what happens after cancellation:

  • Immediately: Your account becomes inaccessible and tracking stops
  • Within 30 days: All your content is permanently deleted from our active servers
  • Within 60 days: All your content is permanently deleted from our backup systems

Important: Once your data is permanently deleted, we cannot recover it. If you think you might want your data in the future, please export it before canceling your account.

Billing After Cancellation

When you cancel, your cancellation takes effect immediately. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

We don't automatically provide prorated refunds for unused time, but if you have significant unused time on your account, please reach out to us. We're happy to discuss a fair resolution. See our Refund Policy for more details.

Cancellations Initiated By Us

We may cancel accounts under certain circumstances:

  • Trial accounts: Accounts that remain inactive after the trial period ends may be canceled after 30 days
  • Payment failure: Accounts with failed payments may be frozen after multiple billing attempts, and canceled after 180 days of non-payment
  • Terms violations: Accounts violating our Terms of Service may be suspended or terminated at any time

In all cases, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you before taking action, unless prohibited by law or in cases of severe terms violations.
